ZDS SupersPORT Software
This software is subject to the following license agreement.
The majority of these files are in the standard zip format. You can unzip them with any unzip utility. I've included pkunzjr for anyone who doesn't already have an unzip program.
These are files that I have used personally. Of course I can't make any guarantees, but my experience has been good.
- pkunzjr Utility (2.6KB) - This is a free utility that can be used to unzip zip files.
- Diskimage Utility (24KB) - This is a utility for creating diskettes from disk image files. All of the disk images on this site were created using this utility.
- DOS 6.22 Boot Disk (597KB) - 720K DOS boot disk. The config.sys file sets up floppy drives A and B for 720K.
- LAN Manager Boot Disk for PE3 (380KB) - This is a 720K disk that boots DOS 6.22 and then loads LAN Manager 2.1 for a Xircom Pocket Ethernet 3 adapter. This allows you to attach a SupersPORT to an Ethernet network. See Using the SupersPORT on a Network for details on setting this up.
- Parallel Port Zip Drive Boot Disk (259KB) - This is a 720K disk that boots DOS 6.22 and then loads the drivers for a parallel port zip drive. The zip drive is assigned to drive C:.
These files are either from the ZDS web site or from individuals who had original ZDS disks. I haven't tested them, and can't make any guarantees as to their behavior or performance.
- ZDS MS-DOS 3.3 (502KB) - This is one of the DOS versions that shipped with the SupersPORT laptop. Two formatted 720K 3.5 diskettes are required.
- ZDS MS-DOS 3.21 (188KB) - This is one of the DOS versions that shipped with the SupersPORT laptop. One formatted 720K 3.5 diskette is required.
- Expansion Chassis Drivers (3KB) - These are the drivers for the SupersPORT expansion chassis.
- Calculator 2.0 (45KB) - A DOS calculator from DOS 5. Functions as a stand alone memory calculator to perform simple decimal and hexadecimal arithmetic.
- mode for DOS 3.2 (4KB) - The mode command from DOS 3.2. Configures computer hardware that is specific to your system: video, LCD, modem, palete, speed, cache, and hard drive time-out, for 8088 machines.
- Hardware Config Utility (15KB) - For DOS 3.3 - Configures computer hardware that is specific to your system: video, LCD, modem, paletee, speed, cache, and hard drive time-out.
- CRC Utility (14KB) - Dos 5.00 - Used to compute CRC values of file
- ROM Setup Program (12KB) - For DOS 3.2 and up - For older machines that do not have a ROM setup program. Works with the Z-180 and SupersPort 8088 laptops. Defines FDD and HDD format protection. Also works with 8088 desktops.
- Real-Time Clock Utility (2KB) - For DOS 3.21, 3.3, and 4.0 - Utility to set the Real Time Clock on 8088 machines.
- Swap LPT1 & LPT2 (1KB) - Swaplpt swaps the LPT port addresses in the BIOS data area in ram for LPT1 and LPT2.
- PKZip 2.04g Shareware (198KB) - Full shareware version of PKZip compression utility version 2.04g.
